Seconded here, Sean.

If ever the phrase "true red blood running through him" was true ....

Would welcome him back tomorrow, nay, this evening.

id have kept him better than Mullin & Jevons he could mix it just as well as Mullin physically but with Curtis he could run with the ball at his feet and go past defenders unlike Mullin

and he never seemed short on confidence with shooting at goal what Jevons badly lacks

Indeed, a player who has scored just 3 goals in a free scoring Fleetwood team and then was allowed to go out on loan and has since scored just 1 goal in 13 appearances would be perfect for a League 2 side which had ambitions before the season started of matching last season's achievements. Seriously, guys, take the blinkers off! Curtis is, along with Twiss and Adams last season and Jim Bentley this season, a player whose best days are long behind him. He would have been as much of a waste of a wage for us this season as a certain Wainwright has proved to be.

at Fleetwood you could put it down to not being given time to click with his new team mates and on top of that Fleetwood are hell bent on promotion money no object instant success etc

and then Wayne as been loaned out to a struggling side just above the drop zone

And we're not a struggling side hovering just above the drop zone a league higher than Barrow? Seriously, I don't get this fascination with Wayne Curtis. He was a great servant for us but is not and never will be a League 2 striker. The idea that we might have somehow scored or created more goals with Wayne Curtis in our side is utterly laughable!

i seem to remember people saying this(past it) about a certain Danny Carlton this year and what difference and shift he puts in upfront compared to others

my point is being he's better than others i have already mentioned

Yet since Danny Carlton has been with us, we have continued to struggle. He's probably scored the 2 goals that will keep us in this league but still!

I'm with Marky. Maybe have given him a contract ahead of one or two who did get one - but, great servant that he was (and my mum's favourite player!), we should be moving on from the likes of Waynaldo.

he is twice the player of muggins. would have loved to see him play this year over that waste of space and money.
