Lawrie Walker not played for reserves recently...anyone know why he wasn't on bench against Hereford either.

He was sent off for the reserves the other week but he did play in the game V Preston.

Could it have been because he was suspended....?????

IF Lee Jones can be used as a sub goalkeeper for the first team,why do we not use him in the reserves and save a possible wage next season????? After all he is one of our present goalkeeping coaches.

Or is it due to his insurance pay out after injury and that we can only call on him in an emergency....?????

If we can get in quality like the likes of Joe Anyon on loan, lets not bother with a sub keeper. What could possibly go wrong?

It does appear that Lawrie Walker is only at the club in case Baz gets sent off or injured during a match because he's not going to get played otherwise. It would leave the reserves a bit short though! I would anticipate him leaving as soon as he's out of contract.

Wouldn't surprise me if the lad was totally p***** off whe Anyon was brought in.He must have been gutted. There seems no point in waiting for a "chance" if it's never going to happen
