Quite a few SVs wouldn't mind Macc's Hamza Bencherif who is out of contract come the close season. For me would add some power and strength to our midfield.

But as has often been pointed out..'what the hell do I know'.

Are we supposed to put our out of contract player findings in here too?

Bencherif would be a great addition to the midfield!

he would be alright for nothing

however we don't have a lot of money to splash out paying transfer fee's and central midfield isn't a priority position in my opinion

we should be looking to bring in quality in the center forward & wide midfield positions asap when the season finishes

He's out of contract at the end of June. Also, he's only 23.

Interesting how we all see our problems differently.

For me a lot of the problems of this season has been our midfields inability to take complete control of a game and offering little protection to our defence. Whilst creating very little for our front men.

Midfield is THE priority area for strengthening this Summer.

If Stanners leaves as expected we are very thin on the ground in quality midfielders.

The lad from Macc looks a really good player and I fear he may go to someone higher up than us.

with having a reduced squad next season we only need 4 central midfielders for 2 position per match unless you play a 5 man midfield all season long then you would obviously need 3

Drummond

would be the ones id retain next season along with Haining a defender who could do a job there.

Someone tell me if I am wrong, but I am sure there are atleast seven threads about this guy?

In fairness to CC, Bencherif has been consistantly good for Macc over recent months and scored a few goals from midfield too.

Im also sure he's on Sammys radar already as fellow East Cheshire residents !

Well there's no chance of us getting him then as our manager only gets the dregs that are left over in the 2 weeks before the season starts !!!!!!!!!

That is of course if he is still the manager next season ?????

Nothing stopping you from starting a thread of your own...but of course it's too easy to have a go at others isn't it?

He will only cost us money if Macclesfield offer him a new contract with increased terms to the deal he has been on. With their finances that is not certain.
