personally i would stick with the same team as saturday apart from the odd change (The only changes i would make would be davies for roche and curtis for twiss i think we have got a good chance of winning this trophy and with the likes of leeds and leicester still in the competition its worth taking serious also regarding the gillingham game on saturday one of there better players andrew crofts will not be playing as he is away on international duty with wales - i think its a game we can win as the gills are conceding a lot of goals and also not scoring that many either LETS KEEP THIS RUN GOING

The ideal game to give Taylor a start?

I'd certainly have him in my starting 11 if only for 60 minutes.

We'll never know if he can make it without throwing him in at sometime and this is the ideal game for me.

With Twissy getting better every game I'd give him another run-out at Chester. I'd also give Taylor a start and, unless he absolutely sets the world alight, I'd put him on the bench again at Gillingham and see how O'Carroll responds.

Taylor should be in but Twiss rested for this one. Agree with Curtis playing instead.

I would like to see Wainwright back in the starting eleven rather than just on the bench. I think we miss some of his crosses and his pace and his pre-season form was decent evidence that he could have a heck of a lot to offer.

Definitely agree again that Davies merits a run out.

Lets crack on and win this competition, it could be a great chance to earn some dosh because promotion is a big ask at present. Keep the lads from Saturday with the exception of Davies for Roche and Waynaldo for Diamond (Roche is playing well but Davies would be equally efficient, this is the perfect game to let him show his metal)

Davies

McCann
Jimbo
Artell
Parrish

Stanley
Drummond
Hunter
Twiss

Howe
Curtis

Subs
Roche
Diamond
Taylor
Wainwright
McStay

It should be a decent game this , looks like Davies is taking it seriously and he's worried about Artell - I'd like to see Aaron Taylor given a start , he looked keen on Saturday.

Chester City manager Simon Davies told BBC Radio Merseyside:
"Obviously with playing at home it's our job to take the game to them and we're looking forward to it.

"We're hoping for a nice little run in the competition, we have to put our strongest team out and we have to go to win the game.

"We have to be careful at set-pieces, we know only to well what Dave Artell can do."
