A few inches higher and that could have been a lot worse.

Actually that was nothing like what was reported in the article I was expecting someone to run on the pitch and throw a pint in his face.

Must have been planned? Why would someone be aiming their camcorder straight at the linesman and even have the time to perfectly zoom in on him. Normally these off the cuff "live" videos are all shaky and only catch an incident after the "main" event

The quality may indicate it was a TV camera?
