Martin Allen has left Barnet to take over at Notts County...... bet the barnet supporters are fuming. will they stay up now? It seemed like a one man revival act!

I don't want Barnet to go down. Far better it be Burton or Northampton for me.

Am sure Martin Allen has done this to someone somewhere before in the past ......

Definitely rings a bell.

It's the Barnet fans I feel sorry for.

I personally think it would be better if they did go down..... we are already getting hammered on travel next year with stockport going down and crawley coming up we are likely to lose closer clubs like chesterfield next year and these will be replaced by the likes of plymouth ... so I would rather Barnet went down.

Potentially Plymouth, Bristol Rovers and Swindon coming down too. And (maybe) Dagenham.

Long trips all.

BUT !!! Hopefully either Fleetwood or Wrexham coming up !!!

Yes, he got Barnet close to promotion from the Conference in 2003 but went to L1 Brentford before the season finished and successfully saved them from relegation. I think Notts County have read the history books and thought "he is our man!"

If you are not squeamish this is what the Barnet Fans think

Reading the Barnet fans views, I now most DEFINITELY hope that :

a) Barnet stay up
b) Notts County go down
c) The first fixture of next season is Barnet v. Notts County !!

Be afraid Mr Allen, be VERY afraid if it is !!!!

He is a disgrace to football. No loyalty, no principles and I hope Notts County go down, Allen gets sacked, and he never gets a job in football again.

"Mmm all those people that doubted me. Never returned my calls. Blanked me. Oh he's mad. Knifed me. And lied ! Look over your shoulders now"

Two weeks worth of tweets by him moaning about never getting a chance after Cheltenham. He's displayed why people were so wise not to trust him. Scum.

I guess so Mick, and the thought he might do the same TO County fans.

Still, when "old sleepy face and baggy eyed" Billy Davies get the boot from Forest, I can't really see Martin Allen being in the frame for THAT job !!

Then again, knowing his track record of upsetting clubs ............ !!

This is what I thought but couldn't substaniate, so didn't say it ;)

Doesn't a banning order mean you can't attend/ be within a certain distance of a football match :?:
