Whatever I and others may think of our manager, I have to give our Board a hell of a lot of credit for 'standing by their man'. During the tenure of our more recent managers it would have been easy for the Board to take the route that many of their counterparts all too frequently resort to as detailed in the article below.

Are you for real? Do you seriously believe the Board are free to make a decision other than what the chairman decides! One person at this club makes the important decisions end of story.
