United's Roy Carroll to Sign for Barnet

He's been training there. Quite a signing, even for a journeyman I.M.O. If they can score some at the other end, then :o

Good link Mark, good luck to Barnet, but not at our expense :!:

I liked the link at the bottom the one about he being involved with match fixing....

Roy Carroll wrote:I’m not a gambler, full stop. I play poker, fair enough, but I’m not a gambler 24/7 :? . I don’t bet on the horses. I might bet on the Grand National with my family but everybody said I had a gambling addiction.

The rumours about the £30,000 were a bit ridiculous. That’s a lot of money to me. I don’t want to lose that kind of money. I don’t even like losing a fiver.

‘At West Ham we played cards, yes, but I can’t talk about other players because it’s not fair. That’s in the past.’

Pointless signing as transfer window closed on saturday and anyone signed from then on cannot play for the remainder of the season unless in a game where you cannot affect the league in any way.

Yes Mick, I remember reading his gambling story some time ago. Barnet appear confident that because he is a free agent he can play?

They are also hopeful that Hereford will be docked 3 points for that illegible player. Herefords result tonight could be interesting as was Lincolns failure last night.

Exciting month ahead, me thinks.

Pretty sure he would have had to have been registered before last thursday to play this season.

ROY CARROLL? ROY CHEATIN CARROLL?!

I thought we'd seen the back of that *&*%£!

Good job he wasn't playing for them the other week or I may well now be residing at Her Majesty's pleasure!!
