Incredible Fans Soluted

"WYCOMBE boss Gary Waddock and goalscorer Scott Rendell paid tribute to the Blues fans who made the long trip to Morecambe.

A total of 261 Wycombe fans laughed in the face of a 1pm kick-off and early start in Lancashire and created a great atmosphere at the Globe Arena.

It was an effort that did not go unnoticed by the Wanderers team who were quick to praise all those who made the 500-mile round trip.

Rendell said: "It is a long way and we appreciate every single one of them coming up here. They made a lot of noise and out-sung Morecambe for a lot of the game.

"They were fantastic and we are grateful as a team."

Blues boss Waddock said he wants to be greeted with similar passion when they entertain Stockport at Adams Park on Saturday.

He said: "The noise the fans made was incredible. I watched the first-half from above today and the atmosphere they created was great.

"It was a fantastic day for all of us. If we can get the atmosphere right at the ground like we did today with the drum beating and the crowd behind the team then we will be strong."

Nikki Bull, Danny Foster and Marvin McCoy also thanked the fans on Twitter after the game."

To be fair to them, they did make some awesome noise, considering their numbers, and the drum was something else.
Enjoy yourself.... It is later than you think

Their drum must have been some sort of industrial job or something as it was well loud.

The drum he was using was smaller than ours, i think the difference was he was using two sticks and was REALLY giving it some hammer ;)
