Might have helped if he'd learned to spell Morecambe by now?

Wouldn't have helped much though.

Let's see if he finds Halesowen Town or Redditch United a joke when he ends up there.

hmmmm am a forgiving type but would you not realy have to meet him in real-life and spend time with him to weigh up his character in order to judge him fairly to see if he is sincere with this one?

a lot of our players have been half-heartedly inconsistent this season?

He's sorry he was found out, nothing else. Still a big-nosed dickhead.

Or better still DawZi, a letter from him printed in the Match Programme.

With a signed facsimile of his signature, then we know he personally was behind such an apology.

Then he can apologise to ALL our loyal fans. Not just those with internet access.

If he did that then we could say he was told to by the club and it wasn't genuine. Whether this is genuine or not we don't know but it's too late. He's made his bed and now he's got to lie in it.

Morecambe Geek is spot on, he's only sorry because he's got caught.

So someone at the club has had a worrd and told him to curb his enthusiasm. He has issued a half-hearted apology so that he can start on Saturday. Regardless, his behaviour will continue whether we read about it or not. His behaviour has been inexcusable and unforgiveable.

Eggs out on Saturday!

He could donate his wages for the rest of the season to a local charity to apologise?

(Re-posted for the benefit of this particular thread)

Just for the record, I've just been having a chat with Tony Dullaghan (Gary's son), and he thanks us for our comments about his dad, it quote "makes him proud".

Tony also stated that, indeed, his dad hated players with the attitude of Capaldi and would have "put him right in his place."

I'm following him on twitter, he hasn't deleted his account and he still hasn't learnt how to spell Morecambe, he's said he won't be tweeting again...not that he will delete his account.

What complete bull...

I'll save the rest of my rant for saturday. If he apologised for making the comments and owned up totally I'd have a little respect for him but he is just trying to pull the wool over our eyes!

Nice update in Wiki, I did think it may have been a little too much but it has been written perfectly and it gives Shrimpsvoices a good plug too!

Now only if we added a sub section entitled....Capaldi and his use of Twitter!
"Don't talk to me about being a star sunshine, I'm on You tube. No seriously, you type in St Albans Vs Morecambe and that's me...celebrating...running to hug a grown man, don't judge me fella, it's pride and passion"
