Going to keep this brief... it was kind of like being in detention... I was bored, I really didn't want to be there longer than I had to be... but had to stay till the end.

I feel punished for something I didn't actually do.

Teething problems at the new stadium, and yes, it is a stadium compared to christie park are no excuse for poor team performance, I think the lack of bottle/ performance tonight is the fact were playing a bigger, stronger, team with more to play for than us, nobody apart from parrish, drummond, spencer and carlton seemed bothered about what happened tonight, a fresh start next season with a new boss is needed, but i would imagine that where sammy goes next, barry, fleming pazza, and one or two may follow, my pizza is here YWOMGxxxxx

Hmmm. Despite the sudden activity with regard manager removals, I don't think Sammy will just walk into another managerial job and even if he does, it is unlikely to be with a team at this level (and definitely not one above). Besides, both Roche and Parrish are contracted until June 2012 so they couldn't just follow him elsewhere without relative big bucks changing hands. Don't forget the circumstances in which he joined us. He was quite explicit about the fact he had no real desire to move back into management at the time and that he really was initially helping out a friend. His passion returned thanks to our success but after such a difficult year, if he were to leave, would he even want to go straight back into the hurly burly of management life?
