I think this a really good idea to try. Such people could be tempted to defer to Morecambe for the terraces, better atmosphere and cheaper tickets. You'd be surprised how easily some people change football loyalties. Plenty of our own fans started off supporting a "big club" and now are die hard Shrimps.

Definitely worth a try and the sort of proactive idea needed to increase our fanbase.

A few years back Accy had a game where they let everyone in for free (think it was against Torquay but nott 100% sure) and they could still only manage a gate of 3,500.

Hope they are ok though even though we never win always enjoy visits to the shi....er I mean Crown Ground
