Everyone wanting to recreate the atmosphere of Chesterfield

Get to the Globe Bar at 2pm for a loosening of the throat muscles, then head to the middle of the MBW Stand to sing your hearts out.

The lads need our support and this is where we step up the so far disappointing atmosphere at the Globe. Let's have no one moaning about giving the ball away, or missing a tackle, or not taking the opportunity to shoot. Just get behind the team and ENJOY THE MATCH

See what we can do after a top away day!

That was the loudest the MBW Stand has ever been, let's keep it going. No extra motivation needed for the Bradford game but everyone organise car-shares, train trips and get vans off Pyes for the night on Tuesday and make the short journey to Bury and get behind the lads once more!

Seemed a lot more than that in today. Maybe it was just the rocking atmosphere... 8-)

Well Southend may have brought about 100-120, meaning we had about 1,800 today, which is very good reception from home fans. If we can drag in an extra 300-400 against Bradford, who will certainly fill the Bay Radio and there allocation of the PMG Stand (which is about 1,500 in total?) and hopefully we can get 2,000-2,200 home, we could be in for an even better atmosphere than Southend if everyone is up to it ;)

How many did Southend actually bring? IMO it was a very healthy following and a commendable effort given the journey...350 perhaps? Much more than the 100-120 that you suggest....otherwise the club wouldn't have bothered opening the Bay Radio Stand up at the last minute. They were very poor in the singing stakes though, can't say I heard a single chant from them all afternoon.

A poor showing from the locals, although it was a brilliant effort by those that did turn up and got behind the team from the off. Hopefully the stay away will start flooding back now that we've started to win again.....otherwise I think the directors will become slightly worried.

There were maybe a couple of hundred from Southend so around 1,700 Morecambe fans which by our standards is not bad. Should be aiming for at least 3,500+ next week with the amount Bradford will bring.

I thought the support was out of this world on Saturday.
The constant singing was brilliant and I was buzzing after the game because of it.

That's what that noise was, I thought there was a bee behind me :D Some people were wanting this "bad" season to be over, but I wish it would now last till September

Just goes to show if the fans want to make noise.....it's not the new stadiums fault the atmosphere has been poor.

It does. I know it is hard but more people should sing and clap after the opposition has equalised. It must give the players motivation to kick on and get a winner.
