The list of potential uses for the stadium infrastructure is endless but that will depend on how it is marketed. Not only to the local community but significantly to the broader regional and national business sector where existing choice in the area is limited due to the lack of suitable facilities.

Many years ago, I used to travel the entire country organising customer trade shows for my employer. Even then Morecambe was unable to provide the up-market location the company needed. Nothing has changed in my view over the years. But with this exciting new development things could take a significant change for the better.

It's up to the club to capitalise on the potential of the new stadium which I'm positive they will. With a pro active management team at its helm the success of the venture could mirror that of the new Shrewsbury facilty, albeit on a slightly reduced scale.

No, but to boost ticket sales and give the competition a whole new meaning, the "Open The Box" winner would get to spend the wedding eve with the bride-to-be! ;)

I am just shocked that another serious thread has been brought down to gutter level

I'm off to a wedding after the Colchester game and take some of this with me
