What is the latest with regards to the above.

Are they staying with their current clubs or returning to CP?

Hope Yatesy comes back and gets a chance in first team like Twissy. As far as i am concerned he was one of our most consistant performers over last two seasons and definitely our best right back. Obviously i dont know what has gone on behind closed doors but i dont think he has been treated fairly this season . :o :o :o

Michael Carr is due to return to Morecambe on Monday
I see Mike Marsh is temporarily in charge of the team as Dino Maamria has been suspended

Would expect them all to figure in this weeks Res game.

Yates and Blinks having a pre-match meal in the Dog on Saturday before the Chesterfield game.

Drove past Atkinsons on my way to the match a few weeks ago to see Michael Howard chomping on a fish supper :D

Although said when he first signed on loan at Burton, it sounds as though Jon is out of favour very quickly at Morton.
Nice bloke, good footballer, great at Morecambe, and I await getting shot down in flames now but IMO he about sums it up himself, 'the manager at Morecambe fancied a different system away from home with just one up front and I'm never going to be a target man so more often than not I didn't play but despite that I scored 11 goals in sixteen starts'. 'They are a fantastic club and I wish them all the best for the future'.
Jon did very well when he got given the chance but he isn't a target man and can't play as lone striker when required and subsequently not versatile enough but still a good footballer in the right circumstances. Were we right to get rid? We'll never know but Morton are not so keen on him now and Burton...not sure if he has played yet but certainly not scored.

As for Yatesy being in the Dog I'm only reporting what a neighbour of mine sdai who goes for a pre match tipple, so my apology if it's wrong.

As for Newby, in my opinion not one of Sammy's better moves in letting him go, although I do understand that Jon isn't a target man. Makes me wonder what he would have been alongside Howe?
