must be about 30 police cars on/near the roundabout next to the peugeot garage/snatchems road area and a helichopper buzzing around above

plus a row of about 6 or 7 coppers stood staring into the bushes on the next roundabout

anyone know what's going on? :?:

No idea but I seen it all, they seem to have the field to the left surrounded by police!!! I went right around to have noise but could not see anything!!

the police surrounded that(i have to watch how i say this) traveler camp not like ones you get opposite the globe arena but lets say a different one

was completely surrounded meaning they had a arrest warrant out for somebody who likes traveling and didn't want to be caught

Just tried to go down Oxcliffe rd but all blocked off by a large police van. Pikies kicking off again?

Maybe all the tv fame getting to them all!!

disgusted by the speculation on here regarding travellers, calling them gypos and pikeys is racist and i am saddened that shrimps are using these names :oops:

My father in law calls these chaps 'didikai', which i have never used, because i thought it racist, but apparently it isn't.

it's been reported in the press that it WAS the traveller camp they were at. nobody except you used gypo or pikey

Oh dear, the poor poor traveller people. Building big houses on Oxcliffe, burning around the area in flash Mercs with blacked out windows, no visible means of income - they show no respect for law abiding folk, so why should they get any respect back ????

Hitler was a Painter & Decorator in is younger days in Austria and had his tools and ladders pinched off Gypsy's, who then tried selling them as scrap.

and they also pinched the lead off his Grand Mothers roof and then used it when they were working on next doors roof.
