Where do they have to be collected from at full-time?

Think it would be more than a good idea for the club to clarify the need to buy tickets for the QAK scheme in advance from either the club shop or ticket office.

Followed a very disgruntled fan into the MBW this afternoon as well as hearing someone else on the terrace who also hadn't bought in advance and had been charged full whack. Neither were aware of the need to buy beforehand.

Quid a Kid is a GREAT scheme, can we please try though and notify fans (some who may not be regulars, and who we DON'T want to put off coming again) of the need for advance purchase?

What was on 16-1700? Pathetic

Traditionally mid week night matches attract smaller crowds than Saturday afternoon kick offs and with Aldershot the visitors Tuesday could be one of, if not our smallest league 2 crowd so far, despite the quid a kid offer. Hope I'm wrong.

It was advertised on The Bay, local press, OCW, and on here, all saying tickets needed buying in advance, where else could the club have stated it?

Posters in pubs and clubs and shop windows also schools

From what I saw yesterday,the atmosphere in Block E (Family Stand) was at best showing mild interest in what was happening on the pitch, and at worst sheer apathy.
Some kids were more interested in blowing bubbles into the air, or having their own little party in the stand.
Distracting for me and a few others, but, hey, that's life, and that's children!

I still feel there's not the same atmosphere at the Globe as at the old place, but maybe next season will be better, when people on and off the pitch have settled down a bit.

I'm not saying they could not have advertised it more, what I am saying is that ALL the advertising done stated tickets needed to be got in advance, which was in reply to Seasider9601.

It was never stated anywhere it was QAK pay on the day

Just a mention next week at Lincoln is also QAK, not sure if thats pay on door though or just tickets pre booked

Interesting observation. So what is the point of the quid a kid offer, what is it trying to achieve and will it ever work.

Come back when you are at least half as successful as some of our board. Honestly, some people need to have a word with themselves.

Tuesday nights stilll attract loads of kids - maybe not the very young ones but certainly more teens. It always feels like there's more kids on a night game, maybe that's just me.

It is a bit annoying that you can't just pay on the gate. I was thinking of taking my g/f's nephew to one of the QAK games but I can't get over to the club shop through the week and I wouldn't know until the day of the game if he was coming or not.

I know you can get tickets up until 2pm but then you are left trying to keep the kid entertained for an hour before kick off.

I know Bradford take a lot of stick from offering cheap season tickets but is this something we should be looking at next season to keep our support intact for a full season.

Ticketing in general is a bit of a fiasco. Offering QAK offers up to kick-off will only increase the wait for everybody else to get through the turnstiles paying on the day. I think the club have got this one right; if you want to bring your kids to a game and take advantage of what is a fantastic offer, pull your finger out and get organised earlier. Even if your kid decides he doesn't want to come, you've lost a quid....deal with it.

Agreed and start selling them earlier as well ie before the end of the season.

You need to charge him a bit more, as the young lady will soon be calling you with a £1 charge for using your card!

It is and it isn't mate. Obviously game has been re-arranged from the Christmas cancellation from which, I would imagine, quite a few people purchased tickets for. They tomorrow will hopefully still use them and attend, (members of my family have purchased in December and are still coming tomorrow) and hopefully we will shift a few more too with it being a special offer.

Would have made more sense for a Saturday game of course, but when so many tickets have already been sold and it was obviously going to be re-arranged for midweek, there's not a lot can be done really.
