Posted: Tue Feb 01, 2011 11:41 pmWe were the better side and should have won but against Stanley it doesn't seem to matter how well we play they always seem to get that bit of luck, this time a dodgy penalty and some good saves from Dunbavin.
Good to see us stand up to them and give as good as we got, its the only way to play against them, lets hope the lesson has been learned.
Well done lads play like that on Saturday and we should get all three points.

Posted: Wed Feb 02, 2011 12:12 am1st half for me was very even, some small glimises of total football from ours lads but for me they failed to have enough shots, accy pushed us hard in the first half and for me looked like they might score, if it was not for barry that is great first half saves by him
2nd we came out and looked very different we were stringing passes together and having more shots, we should of scored at least 2 goals in the first 10 mins of the second half, eventually it came great goal and good build up play, accy then started attacking again using the left wing to there advantage, they looked unstopable down there, and thats when the accy player skipped around the morecambe players then dived and got a pen.
would i have settled for the result before the game, hell yes.. during the game no, we should have taken 3 points today but all is good because we did not lose to them

"As I always prefer to keep my eyes on the game when all around is mayhem in the Clayton end, I understand from my mate that a lad was being "crowd surfed" and divested of several items of clothing. I took my eyes off the game for a second and saw his two bare feet above the mob's heads. Apparently his hat ended up on the pitch and was scooped up by a marshall who confiscated it. Cue an instant exodus of half the Ultras in the direction of the said marshall, after which I haven't a clue what happened. It all was extremely distracting and the cut the Clayton end noise down by about 75% for about 20 minutes. Barmy!"
