Wayne Carlisle??? I would assume he has the Northern Irish link with our boss and is also a free agent.

However, they're both getting on a bit (in football terms) at 33 and 31, respectively.

we dont need them it just means there's going to be even more disruption trying to get a settled winning team together with tinkering about with players and positions

should be giving the guys in the squad the chance to step up Niel Wainwright must be right pissed off it's not like Wayne Carlisle is any younger plus he's also had fitness problems recently

and we have 5 center backs 6 if you count Capaldi who as played there before in his career
