Both he and Andy Gray seem to be digging themselves rather a large hole.

Will this be known as Gate Keys?

I haven't seen it but the reports say that she got the decision spot on and that Gray & Keys called it wrong. That being the case, perhaps a suitable 'punishment' would be for them both to have to sit there, live on Sky, while Sian Massey 'teaches' them the rule? It would be funny, suitably embarrassing for the pundits and promote female involvement in football while not blowing things completely out of proportion.

Now that would be funny! Andy Gray is nothing but a bigoted Jock!

Sky Sports is a boys club anyway. The pratts they have on Soccer Saturday show that its just jobs for their idiot mates. That show would be lost without Stelling.

I think Sky Sports needs a bit of a freshen up so would be glad to see the back of them two and bring through some new faces. If Blackpool lose Charlie Adam (going to Liverpool on Weds I hear) and they get relegated would love to see him as a perminant presenter

An old one but worth another look under the circumstances.....You're in a shoe shop, second in the queue for the till. Behind the shop assistant on the till is a pair of shoes which you have seen and which you must have.

The female shopper in front of you has seen them also and is eyeing them with desire. Both of you have forgotten your purses.

It would be rude to push in front of the first woman if you had no money to pay for the shoes.

The shop assistant remains at the till waiting.

Your friend is trying on another pair of shoes at the back of the shop and sees your dilemma.

She prepares to throw her purse to you.

If she does so, you can catch the purse, then walk round the other shopper and buy the shoes!

At a pinch she could throw the purse ahead of the other shopper and "whilst it is in flight" you could nip around the other shopper, catch the purse and buy the shoes!

BUT, you must always remember that until the purse has "actually been thrown", it would be plain wrong for you to be in front of the other shopper and you would be OFFSIDE!

Male netball referees?
I thought there was a professional womens football league.
In a game which seems to be just as important as life or death then they should keep the sexes apart.

I was wondering who would be allowed to use Andy Grays' MNF analysis computer tonight and thought they may have had Gabby Logan instead. Turned out they cut the usual 45 minute start of the programme to hide the missing culprits. Maybe they don't have anyone else qualified to use it

and Big Sam in place of Andy Gray prob because he lives close by so was good or a last min call.

The coverage deff needs freshning up you would think a couple of the Sky Sports News presenters would be able to stand in a couple of them have had their own programmes in the past.

It was six years ago this month that Rodney Marsh made what he considered a jokey (but obviously ill-judged) remark about David Beckham/Toon Army/Tsunami on Sky, which has seen him banished (seemingly) for life.

It will be interesting to see how long the ban is for Gray and Keys. One match??

Rodney Marsh joked about an event where quarter of a million people lost their lives. Probably just a good excuse to get rid though, he's a tit.

Gray is a fool, not because he is a Scot or fat or balding or an ex-Everton player or anything stereotypically - he is just a fool - him personally ! He is arrogant and self satisfied, and should not be allowed near a TV camera or microphone.

I suppose I show my prejudices when I say that Keys is just a media creature - a professional chatterer, and some of those often have trouble switching their gobs off.

It matters not a jot whether the female match official on Saturday got that off-side right or not. Gray and Keys had their fixed prejudiced stereotypical views long before they even knew a female official was running the line. Female officials will get decisions right or wrong, almost certainly, just as often as male ones. That is setting aside any notion that as match officials we should all accept what they decide without quibble, which is the sporting way.

But female match officials must be able to make their honest decisions without being accused of being weak in some way related to their sex, which is facile nonsence.

I'm quite happy to be a sexist pig and not want women at football at all. But, as it is, they are there and getting a greater involvement and that is the fact.
The Female ref's assistant got a pretty difficult shout spot on, so maybe the ones who need to learn the offside rule were sat on their self-important arses?
Prats, the pair of them.
