At what point on matchday does a player become the total property of the club?
For a home match are things like the use of mobile phones/texting banned by a certain time before kick-off, or can a player simply slope off for 15 minutes and continue an argument with his missus/girlfriend/ bookie etc? Ditto for an away match.
Just find it interesting, as performance must be affected by any current personal problems.

The bookie bit aside, there must be something other than football on their minds.

I reckon all this social networking crap has got a lot to answer for, right across the spectrum

Peter has got a point though. The players are thinking too much about updating their facebook than winning a football game
