Charity Lot - Signed Shrimps Football

Hi all,

As part of my charity fundraiser that you may be aware of for CancerCare, I have a signed ball which I'd like to auction off to add more money to the pot.

It's an official Mitre MFC ball, with the signatures of the whole squad that I obtained personally.

It even has some minor scuffs on it from where an unnamed player played a bit of keepy uppy with it (true!).

If you'd like to make me an offer, it'd be appreciated!

Cheers,

Dave.

I'll start the ball rolling as it were Dave with my bid of £10 please.

It's going to go for much higher than that though for a worthwhile cause.

GET BIDDING !!!!

£35 is my bid.

Did you get anything from Coventry City when you were there?

Only at the bottom. Maybe the weight of the old badge on it's shoulders

Yes, it's deliberately a bit flat to keep it nice. Club shop will sort the air out I'm sure!

How long are you running the auction for Dave?

[subtle 'bounce' that allows for a subtle 'bounce' when answering] ;)

Come on, it's got to be worth more than a sixty year old programme!

Morning all!

Love being in the office before 7am on a Sunday!

I'm handing all the money over to CancerCare on Feb 7th, so I suggest bids until say Thursday of this week, then winner can collect it from the game on Sat, or I'll arrange delivery.

Just grateful for any bids really, som many thanks all!

Does it increase the value of the ball if I say the scuffs on it were made by a keepy uppy display from Sir James Bentley?

I'll leave it wih you!

Cheers,

Dave.
