That would be a big loss the only bright spark in the team this year. He is the most improved player and is our only creative outlet, it's no coincidence that we have started winning again since has come back into the team. I never understood why he lost his place to a central midfielder anyway.

Big, big loss if it happens. We would have to replace him I think...or definitely come up with a means of keeping wilson on the wing (signing capaldi/new lb) or we have no creativity.

Isn't Duffy out of contract in the summer??? If this is the case he could walk away for nothing come the end of the season. Given his age we won't get a penny for him. He is one of the few players we have at the club that is a saleable asset, a stupid situation to be in given quite a few of the dross that is brought here ends upcosting the club to get rid of (when paying their contracts up).

I agree with Jack, it'd be a bit of a blow to lose him but we have some flashes of inspiration in the team apart from duffs. Willow is an obvious candidate and shuker and spencer have had some good moments in recent weeks. But I agree that Duffs has been at the heart of our recent revival, you only have to look at saturdays result to see that.

A few clubs in for him.Sad to see him go but he is out of contract at the end of the season and can walk away as thommo did for nothing.We might as well get what we can for him.Spoke to Mr Mcguigan after saturdays game and he said their valuation was less than his but they know he is out of contract so what they have offered isnt as good as it could have been.

Someone on there forum said he was in Scunthorpe today If he does go we NEED to replace him with somebody just as good and spend some money

Absolute disaster if it happens, with Duffy on the right and Wilson on the left we have a great balance to the side. We wouldn't have much time to find a replacement either, sincerely hope this doesnt happen. Cant help wondering why we haven't got him signed up on a longer contract.

100,000 really come on I reckon a club like Barnet would spend more than that on the star striker in izzae mcleod .

I am thinking and I saw pretty much every Morecambe home game last season and few this season he is worth about 400k-700k.

and we can get a replacement from the conference or a player that got let go from a stronger on team and get him on a free y not?

if we can get a good price for him and then spend that one a pacey striker you could justify it seeing he is out of contract in the summer anyway and no saying we could keep him


i have every faith in Shuker to come in on the right wing to do a job and cross quality balls across that goal mouth after all he as played there all his career
