and if Caphaldi goes this week Haining is the obvious choice to play left-back in the mean-time

He was in the reserve squad to play Tranmere but it was postponed.

Posted: Sat Jan 15, 2011 9:41 pmDon't think anyone in the current squad could play left back, and I prefer Wilson where he is now, higher up the pitch, so Sammy may have to sign a left back on loan.
Of the current squad, Parrish is probably the player who could fill in there,although he is right footed.
Actually, it would disrupt the back four slightly, but Charnock seems to favour his left foot when he clears the ball, so maybe he could play there,which would mean bringing Jimbo or Haining or Scott in as a centre back.
