It's such a good idea, you'd think someone else might have thought of it by now!

I know it's been talked about before but at least he is trying to lobby people to try and move it forward.

With nothing happening in the 2 years since that story was run. Well done to anyone who actually progresses it, whoever they are.

The new MP has done very well up to now.

(1) Heysham/M6 link road gets the go ahead.

(2) Helping to move the Comedy museum forward.

(3) He is in favour of a Marina for Morecambe which I have felt for years was the best way
forward for the town.

Absolutely - and good luck to him, hope he can get something going. I just thought he and others were talking like it was a new idea, that's all.

Mitchell's were after making the old lap dancing place into it but I think their budget of about 2p wasn't enough to get it going...

All credit to David for what he's trying to do:

M6 Link
Support for Marina
Support for Heysham 3
Moving forward the comedy museum

but as shrimper eludes to, it is a bit like the bloke who comes and gets the top off the ketchup bottle after you've loosened it. I just hope all of them come to fruition.

I've been really impressed with David Morris, he has made a great start to his tenure as MP for Morecambe and Lunesdale. Fair play to him. During her vote mongering and self interested final days, Geraldine Smith really lost sight of what was important for the area. Her stand against the M6 link road ended up being a bit of an embarrassment, much like the party she represents.
