very sad news, my condolences to his family and friends. I have many happy memories of banter on the north stand over the years, especially winding up some of the supporters in front of us, or just throwing in a comment to get the rise, before a trip to the bar. God bless Bob.

I had no idea that Bob had passed away or that he was ill.

My deepest condolences to his family and close friends.

Bill Shankly once said about football being more important than life or death. When you hear news like this you realise that Bill Shankly talked rubbish.

RIP

Robin told me today about how fanatical Bob was about football. He was watching the Footy on tv one day and to get his attention Robin put a video on, needless to say Bob went "ape" !!
Probably as many travelling Shrimps there as there will be tomorrow.

R.I.P. Bob , I sense you would be pleased with the turnout
