No words of welcome or any indication about whether he will be given some money to negotiate new signings come January. Maybe they have told him that money is available now that JB has gone but that they do not want to make it public until DA starts to 'wheel and deal' come the January transfer window.

So how did that work out then?

Worcester population is not much less than Preston and a lot more than Morecambe. Good job it's a rugby town or they may want a Football League club. Strange that it was suggested back in June... Happy to see it firmly denied.

A lot more than Morecambe yes but that's not difficult, close to Preston population, no way! Worcester and Morecambe combined might be very close Keith but even then I think it'll be less

It would be identical ,as worcester city has triple Morecambes population with 106k, there are smaller towns in the premier league.

We were told that whatever happens at Worcester has nothing to do with MFC, seems more likely by the day that it does

The warning signs were always there. We as a fanbase were always too easy on the owners, they got an easy ride at our club.

I think Heysham Shrimps definition of us being mushrooms is spot on, very much in the dark

I seem to remember several wondering why 2 'business men' from down south were interested in buying the club but we were too relieved to get somebody after the other sharks trying to get their teeth into us.

The only thing wrong with SHARKS is that there are over 500 different types of SHARKS, it seems just another pair came along.

Just wondering if they are BASKING SHARKS? Sprawling figures basking in the glow of owning a sports club, till they get fed up and destroy it.

Rod has mentioned that he has kept all the minutes and notes from the Lemos/Cala/PMG/Mayfair loan period. That would make a very good book.

The motives behind the ground move, the cock ups building the ground, putting Dixon in charge, selling to Lemos, Cala squatting in the board room, Burnard, Mayfair loans, Colin&Jason-present day. Plenty of villians, a couple of legends, League 1 and a King.

It would have a fair few chapters! I know most club fans have a hard luck story but there can't be too many like ours!

All started with PMG wanting an unrealistic value for the club, hence him having to sell it to "dodgy" people with no money, which set of the chain of events.

How do people feel about PMG nowadays? He played a massive part in our rise from non league but probably caused a lot of this recent trouble.

Is he a Legend or did he sell us out?
