I think that the idea is a necessity as, if the club achieves our long term aim of being a championship side, then the ability of people to use our crest for free would be an issue for the club and subsequent revenue streams.

What I would say is that I believe there should be a shortlist of four drawn up and then put to vote by all morecambe fans, this way we have some input into what we're wearing for years to come.
