Could have been 3 points could have been 0 points so a draw is acceptable.Omari Patrick’s pace troubled us when he came on. Don’t think Chelsie will be too worried!

Another good point on the road and out of the bottom 3

Not a great 2nd half but hey ho

We go again Saturday

Looks like 2 from bottom 6 as it stands (Accy 19th play Bromley 21st) on Saturday

Tired legs for me. We just don't have the sybs to change games when changes are needed.

Just another example of how we badly need some fresh blood in the New Year.

A point was a decent result in the end - we just didn’t have enough about us to win that game. The second goal was really poor to concede and then we insisted on hoofing it back to the opposition even when under no pressure.

Good point all things considered. Away form is fairly decent. Win on Saturday is another big ask but will put us in a great position for the Christmas fixtures.

All four goals were poor really. Their first came from a defensive mix up, leading to a softly conceded corner. Our first was comical defending, our second was a bit of a fluke really, although, it was a dangerous ball in.

The 'hoof ball' from 1-2 just put us under too much pressure. There was no ball on the deck, and no way of keeping the ball out of our half. Hit it out, wait for it to come straight back at us. Dave Salmon said something along the lines of "Tollitt has barely touched the ball in the second half" which was true, but that's because we'd stopped passing it.

A point was fair in the end, possibly even, fortunate. At 1-0, we really needed to pile on the pressure for the rest of the first half, as they looked dreadful.

Valuable point and psychological boost, being out of the relegation spots. But, if we'd been able to get the win, we'd have closed the gap on Tranmere. Certainly, the table at half-time looked much nicer than full time!

So how did that work out then?

We are still in touch with a few teams which is a bonus after the start we made

Last 5 league games...

Tranmere 2 2
Swindon 3 2
Port Vale 0 1
Harrogate 2 1
Chesterfield 2 5

7 points from 15

Derek mentioned in his after match interview that Tranmere had no game on Saturday which did make a difference tonight

Omari Patrick’s pace troubled us
And that’s the difference port vale did the same they have subs that can inject a bit of pace and move the ball to them, our only real bit of pace is Slew and he started the game, so no one who could change
But comms did say that DA expects to be busy in the January window also said the prospective new owners were put the money forward or that’s what I thought they said (perhaps it was all a dream)

We need at least 7 points from next 5 games that takes us into the New Year, hopefully hat will keep us in touch with other teams below the half way mark.

Derek though needs to work his Transfer magic in January.

Oh and if those who went last night are saying we were tired after Saturday, are we going to recover by this Saturday?

Well we've a day longer recovery I suppose. The trouble is that certain players are asked to do it game after game without a rest. That's down to small squad size and a lack of quality replacements. Many other teams who are better resourced always seem to have several quality players ready to step in when required.

It's all down to January I feel and who we can recruit. At least DA might have a few quid to throw at it now with the cup run. If he'd had to try and do it with zero funds then I really would fear the worst.

261 away supporters at Tranmere. Not bad - more than double Barrow's 130 at Bradford and more than 6 times Accy's 40 at Grimsby.

261 for a team in bottom 3 is a decent effort midweek
