I really don’t see this as anything controversial…

As a society, we must balance the considerations of public health, personal freedoms and the economy etc and only introduce measures which are proportionate to the problem and weighed against the many other things that must be considered.

There just seem to be a lot of people who believe that Covid is the only thing that matters and anyone who is against the most extreme restrictions is some sort of idiot who ‘doesn’t care about saving lives’.

There are some, like redrobo, who believe that it should be illegal for unvaccinated people to go food shopping - even with masks and social distancing - and there are some who don’t believe we should have any restrictions or measures at all - and there are a whole host of alternatives in between these two view points. Not black and white.
