Congratulations to Jordon Cranston who won promotion back to the national league north with AFC Telford United yesterday in a very tense match as they played away at Kettering Town & both clubs were once regular fixtures of ours in what seems like not so long ago. Telford went behind and were still behind at the break, they levelled before going behind again but with around 20 minutes to go Telford turned up the heat scoring 3 to win the game 2.4 and Cranston played a massive part in this win. Cranston many will remember was a great player for us but like so many was sold on to Solihull mainly because he wanted to move as the commute from Bham was taking its toll so fare enough life & family is more important than a bag of wind.
Telford were backed by 600 travelling fans (maximum allocation) and showed the game live at Telford in front of a sell out 1000 crowd, well done all and congratulations.
From Southern league premier to national league north, weird!
