I can remember last year there was a couple of interviews with players and I thought at the time that he didn't seem very popular so that could be the reason.

Just wondering if we will be offered Stockton on loan in January if he continues to struggle scoring. Would he come back and would we have him?

I never got the Mark Hughes hate, he was the best defender we had since Jimbo(one for the Jimbo fan boys) and a proper leader.

Since leaving us he has scored 7 league goals from 32 matches....very average for a striker. Add his massive sulk in his last season with us and I wouldn't welcome him back.

Salford are still playing him, so not sure that they'll want to lend him out anyway, but if he was offered to us, I wouldn't want him. We'd have to pay a decent wedge to get him, and if he continued to fail, we'd be stuck with him. Add to that, having a 'billy big-bollocks' come into a squad that has such a togetherness, he could be quite damaging to the club.

If Derek chose to bring him back, then I'd support that decision and Stockton when wearing our shirt, but given a choice, no thank you.

I think it was another social media debacle, where he seemed to post something derogatory towards some of our fans, later claiming that his account had been hacked.

He was a massive loss from the start of the season until Christmas, when we played most games with ten men, and a sulking, strolling Stockton. Only when he realised he was going to be out of work did he knuckle down. We *almost* survived in League One once he pulled his finger out, but too little too late.
