Lets face it, he's struggled everywhere EXCEPT Morecambe.

Carlisle, Hearts, Tranmere etc etc.....

Pity but was always going to be loaned to a higher club. Good luck to him.

Cole limped off after 51 minutes v Leicester last night with what looked like a problem injury that saw him subbed also on Saturday with a similar injury.

Still can be consoled with his increase in salary....no doubt..... :(

Heard that Jamie Devitt is available and would relish chance to return to the club.

Also looking for a new club is Bez Labula a striker who scored 18 goals in 56appearances for Crawley.

Released by Blackpool in June after signing for them numerous times over the last 3 seasons so knows the region .

Would love Jamie Devitt to give us some more firepower.

And at 33 injuries don't clear up very quickly.

We don't want another Carl Ruffer who 20 years ago was bragging that Morecambe paid him £600 per week for being injured.

D.A. said there would be a squad of 21 at the start of the season, we presently have 22. If the Bradford match is anything to go by do we need more signings eating into the budget. And at 33 with his injury record, for me no thanks.

Unclear at this stage how serious it is but wish him well..... :)

Ok, so the big move didn't come off although he's playing in a higher division. Burton at the bottom of the table. I wonder if they can see a Morecambe scenario happening to them.

If Stockton hadn't taken the p***, we'd be playing at a higher division too.

Breaking his leg really ruined his Ipswich career. Hope he's fully recovered.

Didnt get much of a look in with our first team despite some encouraging performances with the reserves at the time.

DA had him at Bratford but not sure if he played some games under DA.

I wondered if he'd visit Southport as a player-coach.
