Danny Ward starts in goal for Wales in their Euro 2020 opener v Switzerland.

Anyone know how many of our former players have played in the Euros? Steve Old played at the Olympics but beyond that I am clueless!

Still only 26 years old. What a waste of talent. :(

I was told, when he first came to us on loan, it was his last chance as far as Liverpool were concerned. Even knowing that, he still had a crap attitude apparently, and has spiralled down the leagues ever since. He'll be the best player in a Sunday League side soon.

Always felt that we didn't play him as much as we should have. Hope he gets a further chance in EFL2 under the management of Dave Challinor who would have been on my short list for our new manager.

Strange how things work out sometimes.

Challinor was sacked at Fylde and replaced with Jimbo. One on the verge of EFL2 management and the other another season trying to get back into the National League.

Are you thick or something....

Read it again and try to digest that Challinor was on the verge of EFL2 management (which he is after yesterdays play off win) whilst Jimbo was trying to get back into the National League....after relegation to National League North.

Aaron Collins our former loanee appears to be on the verge of signing for relegated Bristol Rovers having rejected a new contract with Forest Green.

He hasn't had a FIRST season "trying to get back into the National League" yet!

Funny enough I was just reading the other day a tweet I think from a Bury fans saying funny how Fylde went for the uninspiring Bentley and are now in the Conf North while Both Challinor and Morecambe have both been promoted.

I noticed they signed Stephen Dobbie who is 38 i think. It doesn't have a Jim Bentley feel about it really. He is local and has been made a coach.
