Jim Bentley Out

If he continues to play 4-2-3-1 he needs to go, we played some of our best stuff last season when we went 3 at the back. Need 2 loan centre half's in urgently! Play a Southgate style 352

Just saying... Very lucky to get the away win vs FGR, lucky to get 3 points vs 10-men bottom of the league Macclesfield, pretty simple cup tie (bearing in mind, Hartlepool last season were doing much better and we 3-0’ed them...) and we bottle it, bottle the replay and miss out on 111k... And the players look lacking in confidence, not motivated, sloppy, overall frustrated and lackluster, and it goes on. Plus Jim coming out and saying and praising himself and talking about it being possible for him to have the England job... In your dreams mate... unless Jim actually seems to make any positive changes, and change up the ever-failing to perform first-team, the owners will soon lose patience, especially if they are in for the success of the club, rather than its loyal and family status! One word for tonight, awful. Refunds for the 282 fans please, that was disgusting. Jim Out, again. One lucky snatched win vs FGR I feel has put everyone in a good moode about Jim - Notts County at the Globe next Saturday is a must win. If we lose against them, he has GOT TO GO. Just my opinion, but I’m sure many will agree.

I agree. He has to go! Him speaking about wanting to manage England is a sack able offence on it's own! He is living in Dreamland!

Trouble is we probably will get another lucky goal and win on Saturday and then everyone will be backing Jim again, and so it goes on - another run of losses. Enough is enough. He needs a long hard look at himself, and make some changes to the starting 11 and formation. We can't keep limping along and hoping the snatch the odd lucky goal. If Jim can't find it in himself to make changes, then it's time to go now.

He isn't going anywhere with the new co Chairmen, don't forget, he is doing an outstanding job, right?
Lucky snatch n grab at Forest Green, and everyone loses their minds! We have failed miserably in the FA Cup under Jim, if he can't motivate the team for a game as big as this, then he shouldn't be in the job. I bet Gareth Southgate is shaking in his boots.

If you go to the Cinema and watch a film that turns out to be crap, do you ask for a refund ??

Just saying.

The film is guaranteed to be the same every time, though, so you know pretty much what to expect based on the reviews. If you knew what each game would be like before you went, would you still go?

Just saying. ;)

And you don't get others sat there telling you that you must like it, it was a great film and how dare you expect anything better for the money it cost to make the film. The director doesn't say the Actors are no good and that they have no where to rehearse. Don't expect any pre film popcorn because its all sold out.

Can the Trust organise a Referendum?

Nobody really has the info to know if the majority of 'fans' want Jim in or out.

There are certainly a lot of categories....

The 1000 that turn up for virtually every home game
The 200-300 that go to most of them
Another 300 that go when they can
The 100 that go when they are on a freebie.
The Exiles that can only get to away games in their area.
Those that can only follow via internet or media.
Those that are lost from attending as they won't go to the Globe, due to ownership/feeling a them and us scenario.
Those that won't go while Jim is in charge.
The 10,000 that have never been seen since Wembley

Probably many other categories, but I would love to know what the majority think. You can't go by 50 people on here or on Facebook, or what most of your mates say.

Now that would be an interesting result to see.

Not sure what Trust membership is, but it might be a good start, and considerably easier for the Trust to administer.

Personally I believe there are more Jim "out" than "in". I know a hell of a lot of people who no longer go to games, and when I ask them why, the main reason is Jim. It's a shame, but it's the reality of it all.

I think Jim as put together a really a good team this season and at times been enjoyable to watch.

However its the results and perfomances at home game's whats been depressing attendance figures season after season after season.

Catch 22.

Catch 22 indeed, another category is those that are 'IN' when we win, then totally out when we play crap or lose, or both like last night

I think everybody is "in" despite a few claiming that some of us are hoping for a defeat. We all support Morecambe FC at the end of the day and to claim otherwise is offensive. I would like to see a poll.

Right, let’s say for those that want the change of manager, and it was to happen. With everything, and I mean everything taken into consideration with regard MFC, no financial changes. Being realistic, there are only three options.

1. Somebody looking for their 1st football managerial position. No experience, no track record of success or failure.
2.A manager from a lower league club. Not likely to move from a successful lower league club, that are going places. Same thing applies, some track record of football management, but not with the massive pressure of a club in the football league.
3. A manager who has experience of football league club management, but has been sacked from a number of previous clubs, for not achieving.

Of the 3, which option do you feel would be the right one for MFC, and definitely achieve the success that JB, in your opinion is not able.

....or option 4.

A former manager at our level who resigned due to constant interference from that clubs Chairman or did not agree with certain aspects of how that club was being run.
