I definitely recall in 1994 going to see a concert on the Promenade (outside the Empire I think it was) during the summer months, and was a couple of hours set by Jools Holland and his Rhythm and Blues Orchestra. I tell people I saw him do a gig on Morecambe Prom and get called a blatant liar !!!
What was the occasion for him doing that then ? Anyone recall ??!!

You remember well, my memory of that night was Jools introducing his brother on keyboards. Was it something to do with Noel Edmonds/Blobby? I'm sure they closed the promenade along the west end for the temporary stage.
