Amond didn't score again. We could do with him still being here 'cause I don't know where the goals are going to come from...

Michael Stringfellow's Kendal Town FC (Stringy is boss) are going great guns in the Evo-Stick Div 1 North and are riding high in the league, unbeaten. They beat Mossley 3-1 at Parkside on Saturday.

They are at home to Clitheroe this coming Tuesday if anyone fancies some proper football instead of being glued to the box watching Clive Tyldesley's Wayne Rooney love in.

1-3 home defeat for Kendal Town last night, not their greatest of performances, bringing their unbeaten run to an end.

Will Kitchen in goal (deputising for the injured regular Rob Whiteside, who lists Morecambe as a previous club in his programme pen picture? I don't recall him??) had a very shaky game.

Still, a good night out again at Parkside.

Kitchen was part of the youth setup. I'm fairly sure he's been involved in the first team at some stage even if that was just sitting on the bench in a pre season game or something similar.

Indeed he was mate. It was Rob Whiteside who I was referring to who mentions Morecambe in his previous clubs list in the programme.

Now him, Rob W, I don't remember ??

Gary McDonald is now playing for Scottish Junior side, Kilwinning Rangers:

New Kilwinning Rangers signing Gary McDonald has admitted the old pals act persuaded him to quit the senior ranks for a career swansong at Abbey Park.

The vastly experienced former Kilmarnock and Aberdeen midfielder – a Scottish Cup winner with St Johnstone in 2014 – sent shockwaves through the Junior game this week when he penned a one year deal with his home town club.

And he revealed how Buffs management duo Chris Strain and Colin Stewart and coach Alan Mahood – all former teammates of his at Killie – sold him on the move just weeks after his contract expired at previous club Peterhead.

The 33-year-old former Scotland B cap, who played in the Europa League during his time at Saints and made a total of 373 senior appearances, said: “I’m starting a new job soon and I’m at the stage in my career where work has to take priority over football.

“It was not feasible for me to commit to senior football anymore – that’s me finished as far as that is concerned – but I was keen to keep playing at some level."

I think Halifax let 7 in at home recently.

I fear it will all end in tears for JH if this continues.

They did indeed v Cheltenham. They're this seasons Hyde.

It's turning out to be a nightmare season for Messrs Kelly and Harvey.
