My biggest and most important dilemma is what nick name i am going to use for the open terrace. I like the 'new carwash' but the 'Berlin wall' is growing on me. theres only one way to find out.........FIGHT. Incidentally i've thought of a song for the chesterfield game.

Four roofs, you're just showing off,
four roofs, you're just showing off.

Like to see the 'Berlin Wall' painted red & white with Morecambe FC picked out. Just like an old school Christie ParK. :D

The Morecambe Bay Wines and Spirits stand is only 5 steps less than the North Stand if my memory serves me correctly.

It looks smaller because of its colouring (grey as opposed to beige) giving an impression of being smaller than it actually is plus the North Stand was more open in construction. The North Stand had a lot of lighting as well which I'm unsure if the new stand has as much.

Will be interesting to see whether the back wall becomes an advertising space.

I think '......to be developed' would seem more appropriate

Radio Lancs travel bulletin yesterday afternoon mentioned that there would be heavy traffic at the Globe Arena in Morecambe due to the match against Manchester City !

Although it seems funny I think the club needs to sharpen up its act with regard to pre match advertising. We are 6 days away from our first home match so all the signs should now say "next Tuesday at The Globe Arena v Coventry City etc etc" I passed the Skerton one and that is just blank and refers to "Christie Park" !! Anyone seen if the Asda and Carnforth Tesco signs have been up-dated yet.

There's one at the Shrimp roundabout pointing down Westgate, so no need to worry about that! ;)
