The support was fantastic today, well done all concerned. A fantastic atmosphere which I'm sure the players appreciated. It was great walking into the ground and seeing supporters decked in beach attire and in full voice a good 30 mins before kick-off as the players were warming up. Usually it is a bit of a rush from the pub to the ground!

Got a message from Sammy via Les Dewhirst and his son paul that he was really pleased with the support today.I must say also the stewards and officials today were superb,we got there early and were allowed into a bar that normally away fans were not allowed they even let the lads have a football and use the 5 a side pitch for nothing. When in the ground beach balls and inflatable what ever were not a problem not like M.K Dons.Although seated not a problem standing.Well done to Shrewsbury town fc for helping making it a great day out.Not to forget the 3 points, well done the shrimps.Spoke to jimbo after the game and he said the lads were knackered having given their all.I for one cant wait till next saturday.

Bloody moaning bast---s.
Excellent turn out, excellent atmosphere (away end), the lads gave it there all on the pitch and it was like watching Brazil in the first 20 minutes but then it all settled down and was quite nervy at times especially towards then end but hey, we won :!:

Me and Doris have just got back home to Gosport.
After the game, and having had a pint in The Brooklands we wandered up to The Charles Darwin. Quite a decent boozer, almost empty at 1830 though. They had free parking for away fans.
Shrewsbury is a really pleasant place, too pleasant just to go and watch a football match.
Spent this morning trying to shake off a roaring head by wandering round it's historic bits.
Great weekend.

....unlike last season at the Prostar, when we were being continuously hounded for standing! Yes, well done to all the stewards for using a bit of common sense and taking a more relaxed approach so that we could enjoy our visit! Notts County, amongst others, take note! 8-)
