Go on CC, name them.

If people would really rather I didn't post here, just say and I won't.

Is that a confession about needing a personality transplant.....

If so...no doubt we could negotiate and 'Buy one...Get one free!' ;) ;) ;)

We could even share John Trainors taxi!

Quite. I assume you know that UKIP policy with regards benefits is to scrap the lot and replace it with a Basic Cash Benefit, set at the same rate as current JSA? You'd be no better off under them, I'm afraid!

To get back to the post topic,
It sounds like ( after watching sky sports news ) the fans and officials seem resigned
to the fact, its better to just wind it up and restart at a lower level again.
You can buy the club for a quid apparently if you'll pay off the £500,000 debts.
Sounds like expulsion from Conference is unavoidable and then the council can sell off
the ground to developers.
I wonder where the new team would play?

Their game with wrexham has now been called off as the Police hav'nt been paid for previous games :o Trading Standards have stopped spectators entering the ground as it would be unsafe.

Football Conference Statement on Chester City FC

The Board of the Football Conference has given exhaustive and thorough
consideration to matters at Chester City FC following the club`s failure to
fulfil its fixture at Forest Green Rovers FC on Tuesday, 9 February 2010.

During consideration on events ensuing at the club, the Cheshire Constabulary
has withdrawn Special Police Services due to be provided at the club`s match at
the Deva Stadium on Sunday 14 February against Wrexham, for failing to pay
policing costs by a due time. As a consequence the Cheshire West & Chester
Borough Council has issued a Prohibition Order on the club preventing the
admission of spectators into the Ground, as the inadequate number of Police
Officers will involve a risk so serious that admission ought to be prohibited,
until appropriate steps have been taken. Chester City FC, therefore, is unable
to fulfil its engagement on Sunday, 14 February 2010.

Pursuant to other matters currently existing at the club, the Football
Conference has served charges for breaches of five separate competition rules
upon the club which include the failure to fulfil the above two fixtures. The
club has been given seven days to respond to the charges, and/or request a
personal hearing. The charges, and a personal hearing if requested, will be
considered on Thursday, 18 February 2010. Meanwhile, the club's fixtures have
been suspended - resulting in Chester City's home fixture on Wednesday, 17th
February against Kidderminster Harriers being postponed. As these matters are
now subjudice, no further statement will be issued until after the meeting of
18th February.

Can you believe what their fans have been through? Remember before Vaughan came along, they'd been driven to the brink by a mad American chairman. He made himself team manager, then introduced American football training because he believed it was equally as football! After him, they were desperate for ANYONE, despite the messages from Barrow fans (and others) warning them. I guess it was out of their control anyway, so they may as well think the best?

Despite a few idiot fans, the great majority don't deserve what they have witnessed happening to their club.

So how did that work out then?

The Chester fans can't wait for SVFC to collapse and be gone for ever! I for one sincerely hope they are very close to achieving that so the CFU can slowly but surely reform a club they can truly call their own and be proud of. Surely the 18th February must be the date when the Conference and FA ruling powers grow some balls and get rid of the cancer which has blighted Chester and Barrow before that.

GOOD LUCK all genuine fans of football in Chester, whatever level that may ultimately be at!
