Manager sacked !!!!!!

if we are in a relegation dog fight mid-January, then there may be some bum-twitching, but until then, I'm not too concerned. I don't think we are *that* far away. Some silly goals conceded but we are better than last season as a squad. Unfortunately, we are now up against a run of tough games, which may result in only a few points and no wins, so in a month's time we could well and truly be "the draw specialists". I still wouldn't be advocating a manager change if that does happen. But, with a little good luck for a change, we're not that far off a good winning side. With that will come the confidence that we've been missing.

So how did that work out then?

I think we will struggle for the next month or so looking at the fixtures but you never know I am sure Sammy had a few words with the team after friday and they will learn something from that I do fancy us to get a draw at the weekend though

I think with 18 draws last season we were the draw specialists, if you compare this season to the last one then there are a number of similarities, a lot of new players, a slow start, a lot of debate about who should be in the team and what formation we should play.

The main difference is that last season we struggled to make chances and score goals, this time that's not a problem but we just need to tighten up at the back.

As you say we do have a stronger squad this season, we turned it round last year and im sure we will do again, i cant really believe anybody is contemplating a change of manager.

It's about expectations and impatience. Some people expect us to improve to the point where we'll win the European Cup one day.

It doesn't matter what peoples expectations are it's all down to what expectations the chairman has.
If he is happy enough with us just surving in this league fair enough but then he may have expectations to see us moving forward and trying to have a crack at league 1 which I am sure he has mentioned in the past.
