Looking at some feed back from St Mirran it looks as though they needed to get rid of him and one other due to wages but also his desire to move back to the North West to be with his family.

A Brentford supporter can't believe that we've signed a player of such quality and he seems to have impressed a few at Bloomfield Road both in his recent trial and when at Oldham. The only reason 'pool didn't offer him a contract was due to thier preference for a left footed centre back.
