I agree, but then I doubt that is their target market either being 1 and 2 bedroom apartments. Probably aimed at single and professional couples (and probably escorts if its anything like some of Manchesters city centre developments) working in the city centre....just wonder if Lancaster has the workforce to support that market...

The flats near White Cross are around the £180000 mark for a 2 bedroom http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/find/Persimmon-Homes-Lancashire/Aalborg-Place.html?locationIdentifier=BRANCH^57574&includeSSTC=true&_includeSSTC=on

that article is dated may 2007, just before the property market went belly up!

quite a lot of the aalborg place flats went up for auction recently (a better indiciation of worth than asking price) and one bed flats went for under 100k and two beds for about 110k (as far as i recall)

by the time the kingsway flats are finished i imagine they'll end up going for somethiing in that region (although i imagine they'll be advertised at higher prices) with a premium for a half decent view.

Had the privelage to take a walk around these today and they really do look great with great views (at least on the riverside) and decent amount of parking (the only major bug bear will be getting your car in there to start with), but if your coming off the bridge that won't take long.

The majority of the flats have already been sold.
