Garner is having a 'mare! Another awful pass, that was so poor, he passed back to Burgoyne from the half-way line!

Taylor>Williams
Edwards>Slew
Angol>Tollitt

Unless it is fitness, why Angol off, not Garner, whos not done anything positive?

Tollitt ALMOST getting to the ball, but just short.

Milton Keynes, bottom of the form guide, scored twice in last six games... Scored twice today and looking most likely to score more. We've been letting them attack and grow in confidence. Why can't we put two decent performances in on the trot?

Until we learn to pass to our own players we are going to struggle. One team in all red, and one team in all white. It shouldn't be too difficult. Story of the season so far.

First time Dave Salmon said "Connor Lemonheigh-Evans" I thought he said "Lemonade-Evans"! I can't not hear it like that now!

Why doesn’t Derek send out the players away from home with a more sack minded mindset! You know full well he’s trying to nick a goal and win one nil! Hes so defensive away from home with Tranmere now winning it’s looking bleak if the results stay the same! I’m

Garner>Dackers.

MK keeper with one of those life-threatening injuries, that break-up our short period of pressure.

Reckon that's it if lose game, cannot understand why when we need to win we playvreally defensive especially with our defence
Gillingham and mk 2 poor sides In bad runs beat us really don't deserve to stop up. Been ridiculously inconsistent and poor thisbyear.

Exactly! We need to win games. Perfect time to play MK, but we sat back and let them grow in confidence. Three shots (is one of those the penalty?) Now we're losing, we pushing on, but they're happy to defend deep and run the clock down. Their goal was clearly coming, yet we stuck to the 'game plan' until they finally scored.

Dallas coming on in the 88th minute?!?!? Surely we could wait a bit longer???

Cooke>Dallas

Slew headed over from about ten-yards.

Looking grim now.

Total of 10 subs but only 2 minutes extra.....I thought it was 30 seconds per sub... :?: :?: :?:

No doubt DA will say we performed well but unlucky..... :( :( :(

Only minor consolation is that Carlisle lost as well.

Harrogate winning 1 nil! Massive opportunity missed today could have been more in the mix! Now looking like we are knackered! I’m sorry but Derek can take a fair bit of the blame for his crap tactics away from home! Specially against teams who are on an abysmal run of form like Gillingham and Mk Dons!

Very average first-half against a poor Milton Keynes, followed by a dreadful, gutless second-half.

Getting very difficult to see us avoiding relegation now.

Still in bottom two, 4 points adrift,

A little bit of hope is there are 6 games at home so we have to be productive in those games. Once again us trying get something by playing too defensively, especially against another team whose form is poor.

Otherwise what can you say? we lost by 1 goal again.

Four months since MK scored a goal at home. Scored two against us.

Dave Salmon said there were "lots of positives". Obviously watched a different game to me. He's also struggling with maths, saying Accrington losing "drags them closer to the relegation zone"... ...err, no it doesn't! They are just as far away as at the start of the games today, because we didn't pick anything up. He did say we need to play a lot better than we did in the second-half.

We've just allowed another team who have been struggling, to beat us. The period of pressure that led to their second goal, should have been a warning. But no changes came. We never had a period of pressure on their goal in the entire game. Thankfully, Carlisle have also lost, but with Tranmere improving, it looks as if they dominated their game against Bromley today, our chances of surviving are
diminishing. I've not given up hope yet.
COME ON YOU MORECAMBE REDS.

Derek, "we were excellent", "we were unfortunate" "we came here to compete"... :? :? :?

Ah well, if that was acceptable, we're definitely going down. One shot on target, not counting the penalty.
