What a tremendous weekend that was, one that will live long in the memory!
Arrived in Earls Court early only to find the Courtfield Tavern already rammed with Shrimps. How they thought two bar staff would cope is beyond me, did no one tell them we were coming.

Short time later about 200 more squeezed in and it was time to leave! Onto the Earls Court Tavern and it was bliss with only about a dozen folk in. That lasted about 20 minutes till the overflow from the Courtfield arrived and once again the placed was rammed with the statutory two bar staff looking increasingly stressed out. Only way to get another drink was to retreat to our nearby hotel which was bliss with only us four in and watching Accy get beat at Anfield.
Onto Stamford Bridge with absolutely no expectations that we would win so none of the usual match day stress of the game. Just enjoyed it for what it was, a chance to see some of the best players in the world up close i.e. Tutonda and Songo.

We did amazingly well to hold out so long till the inevitable happened but we still enjoyed the occasion. We were puzzled at the end when a man burst out of the crowd just to our left and hurdled the fence onto the pitch. There was anger and determination in his face and goodness knows what his intentions were if he had evaded the three burly stewards who promptly flattened him!
Felt a bit sorry for Chelsea

All the money in the world but can't get planning permission to develop Stamford Bridge into the size of stadium they need. They must be very jealous of Spurs. One things for sure if they ever do they need to improve the infrastructure too. Fulham Broadway tube was rammed after the game so we went for a drink to let it clear. Came back over an hour later and it was still rammed. Sardines isn't the word trying to get on a tube.
Anyway after that diversion we can hopefully pick up some points and get away from the foot of the table!!
