We are lacking quality , I hope Derek can get a striker or 2 in during the January transfer window or we will be relegated. Which makes me think why would anybody wish to buy us.

Still don't know how we didn't score then! Hope shot, deflected, great save, then as Tollitt slid in, about three yards from goal but somehow, the ball pinged up in the air, possibly their defender, or Tollitt not making a clean contact? Either way, the ball stayed out of the net.

Poor defending again, but a well worked goal. The points dropped at Tranmere, where we weren't good enough, is more of an issue than losing to a good Grimsby side. Tranmere losing 3-0 at Chesterfield.

Another game where Dackers hasn't had a shot. If his hold up play is valuable enough to be in the side, then we need someone else who knows how to shoot.

Well done Grimsby fully deserved win.. Safe journey home

Looking like 2 from bottom 5 plus maybe Harrogate for relegation

We’ve huffed and puffed but we have been outplayed. They were better from the start and once they got ahead they contained us and they could have scored many more.
It’s hard to watch our lads giving their best, but it’s an understatement to say that we need an injection of new blood.
Our poor home form continues as Grimsby away from goes from strength to strength.
Just hope that we can turn it around soon.

It's sad cos away form is quite decent 11 points from 10 games (11th best in league)

Been said before on here if Derek keeps us up this season it will be his best achievement as a manager)

Not having a go at Dackers as such, more that this isn't a system that works. He isn't a natural goal scorer, and isn't a natural creator either. If we're going to play to his hold-up strengths, then we need something else to create chances from him.

Derek: "Our worst performance of the season", "we were very poor", "we didn't win tackles", "we didn't pick up in the box", "we've still got a lot of work to do".
