Most news outlets are saying the ties are to be played between the 10th and 13th, Friday to Monday. No mention of Thursday so hopefully that's off the table. Chelsea also have a televised league fixture on the 14th (Tuesday), which is unlikely to be moved. Meaning Sunday and Monday are also off the table. Leaves us with just Friday or Saturday to play the game.

Only 3 fixtures were selected for Friday last season and 2 of them were all premier league ties.

Tv games have been selected...

I can understand some of the selections but Aston Villa v West Ham what a joke

I think it's likely we might be selected for overseas tv coverage. We were last year against Swansea. Don't think it generates the same £85k fee as the UK channels but will be something.

Common sense would say put Fulham Watford on the Friday evening as there would be much less distance for their fans to travel but doubt that's even a consideration.

Only allocated 3000 tickets?? This seems extremely harsh to me. Could the club not have asked for more. I didn't get a season ticket this season due to having to work alot of weekends but me and my 2 kids support chelsea too so this is can not miss for us. Starting to worry now. Been supporting morecambe since 1991 so really don't want to miss out on this.

There's no reason to think we won't sell out. I think we'll get more if we asked.

If a it is a full house at Stamford Bridge the gate receipts may well get up to over £1.25M so could be looking at in the region of £450,000 - £500,000 at least. Then their will be TV monies (abroad). That’s a big win for the Club.

Senior rail ticket £84 (open return) £34 match ticket and other expenses = £150-160?? Depending how hungry/thirsty you are.

(Are allowed up to 15% of the gate, so 3000 does not seem that many really. I hope anyone who wishes to go can get a ticket. It would be a great shame if there is more demand than the 3,000 we have been given.

Steep prices but I guess mfc are trying to maximise gate receipts. Hopefully scope for more tickets if we sell out quickly

I would imagine it would cost more than that for a normal Chelsea match! I'd say it's about a £20 reduction on normalPremier league games.
Don't worry be happy!
