On at least three occasions earlier in the game, County players went down, screaming like a toddler having a temper tantrum, then after rolling around the floor with a broken leg, realised they weren't getting anything, so jumped to their feet, miraculously healed, and continued the game.

Like many of the newer refs he didn't seem to have any "feel" for the game and didn't seem to understand what constituted a fair tackle and what was a foul. I am sure most of the new recruits have never played the game at any level. We have a huge crisis in refereeing and imo the standard has declined sharply this year. The sooner some ex-pros are available for refereeing duties the better. The real concern is that many promotion and relegation issues will be determined by poor and biased refereeing.

We’ve been allocated ref Tom Reeves for the Chesterfield match on Saturday. We didn’t see him at all last season but he was in charge when we lost 2-1 at Plymouth in December 2022 and when we lost at Wycombe 4-3 in October 2021.
Last season he issued 113 yellows and 4 reds in 35 matches (3.23 and 0.11) and this season 28 yellows and 2 reds in 9 matches (3.11 and 0.22).

Wasn’t AC the referee recently at Accrington.

Neild had a good game. We notice the crap ones, but we've had a few decent ones this season.

SS was in charge when we drew with Mansfield 1-1 at home in January. Last season he issued 142 yellows and 2 reds in 30 matches (4.73 and 0.07) and this season 54 yellows and 1 red in 13 matches (4.15 and 0.08).
We’ve never seen OM before but this, his first season, he’s officiated in 5 NL, 3 Trophy, 1 L1, 1 L2 and 1 FA Cup match issuing 50 yellows and 3 reds in 11 matches (4.54 and 0.27).
