Accy Next?

Hope with all the lack of match fitness there will be on the pitch our lads have kept trim. I've seen enough turkeys and puddings recently

Get the flags ready :D

A team who has not won away yet, but we can never beat them. 1-2.

Has anyone got a flag for the Stanley game?
Anyone got balloons?
It just seems to have gone quiet on the flag day front.

Morecambe 2 Accrington 0
Jevons (2 pens)

3,209

It's about time we beat this shower. As usual they will try and bully us out of the game, but we are stronger defensively and shouldn't buckle. It really is time for us to get some luck with decisions, in previous games the ref has given us nowt, whilst awarding Accy free kick after free kick until they scored.

Looking forward to this game after such a long time in the ice age.

When the fixtures come out, Liverpool fans look to see when they are playing Man U, Newcastle fans wonder when they are playing Sunderland, Wolves fans look for the West Brom fixture, Arsenal for Tottenham, Norwich for Ipswich, and for me it's when are we playing the Stanley? Now, here it is on Saturday and I would give up a few wins to win this one on Saturday, we haven't beaten them in the League yet, they bully our midfield every time, and we never get a strong enough referee to sort them out.
Maybe this time it can be different! Coleman always fires them up because it's Morecambe,
we need to be up for this one because it's Accrington!
Coleman cried when he left Morecambe as a player, let's hope he cries when leaving the Globe as a manager.

"give up a few wins" :o It has taken us 5 months to get 5 wins, as much as we would all like to beat Accy we can't afford to give any of those points away we have in our little bag :(

We saw Duffy score a great goal and Baz make a superb save on the astro turf but it was from over the railway line :?

Hope the build up of Programme printing isn't causing too much hassle? A lot of dead money if they are printed ready and then the game is played 2 months later? ;)

nothing we can do about it mark
will redo aldershot programme so its a new programme for the revised fixture
id gone with the view aldershot was always going to be off
accrington programme nearly completed
and looking at forecasts should be no problem

Accy are in a poor run of the form at the moment, their ownership problems aren't resolved and by all accounts money is a big problem again. With a wage bill believed to be double theirs we should be beating them. I genuinely think if we go for them, play with belief and confidence then we've got the better players and can win. However a performance like last Boxing Day and the daggers may well be out for Sammy again. A make or break game for our season.

Now I am confused. Are the daggers not in League 1 now?

Yes I agree. 21 points from 21 games won't get us to our usual Target of 50, which we normally reach with 10 games or so to play :o
