Well that alone might get the board worried.

I've heard that the board are going to appoint Lillis as manager for the rest of the season very soon if results dont improve.

Well on Radio Lancashire Sammy is going to chat about the performance .

I guessing it will be injuries luck in football also the fans ie attendance.
:? :?

Who would you have as next Morecambe manager if Morecambe get rid of Sammy Mark Lillis?

We did have enough chances to get a point: including hitting the post twice, a couple of fantastic saves from their keeper and of course, the penalty. But at the end of the day we didnt take the chances are we got nothing.

Sammy can't put the goals into the back of the net for us.

I think Sammy will need a win next Saturday to save his bacon. A draw and he may get the Port Vale game as a stay of execution. I really hope he turns it around but have the feeling that his abrasive personality may be effecting the confidence of the players.

If the axe does fall I would be happy to see Lillis and Bentley take over at least to the end of the season. The most important thing is survival. Getting back out of the Conference would be tougher second time round...

Watched Sammy today , he didnt seem interested in proceedings at all , he hardly went in to the technical area choosing to stay at the back of the dug out . I am sure the negativity must rub off on the players.Surely the board have to consider their options unless they have decided we are not big enough to continue competing at this level.

you dont seriously think the board would put Jim Bentley and Mark Liilis in charge if Sammy leaves surely! Mark would go with Sammy so that scenario is not likely.

I would think that the board will certainly give Sammy the December fixtures to turn things round. Hereford , Northampton and Macclesfield are the away games and those will be pivotal in deciding how the season goes.

The rumour mill I heard from is that Sammy offered his resignation after the torquay game but the board turned it down.

Once again this wek he sat in the background and let Lillis do te commanding. Something is not quite right somewhere. On and off the pitch!

amen..........

Sugar
Sugar
mmm ... ooh

She sits alone waiting for suggestions
He's so nervous avoiding all her questions
His lips are dry, her heart is gently pounding
Don't you just know exactly what they're thinking?

If you want my body and you think I'm sexy
Come on, sugar, let me know
If you really need me just reach out and touch me
Come on, honey, tell me so

He's acting shy looking for an answer
Come on, honey, let's spend the night together
Now hold on a minute before we go much further
Give me a dime so I can phone my mother
They catch a cab to his high rise apartment
At last he can tell her exactly what his heart meant

If you want my body and you think I'm sexy
Come on, sugar, let me know
If you really need me just reach out and touch me
Come on, honey, tell me so

His heart's beating like a drum
'Cause at last he's got his girl home
Relax, baby, now we are alone

[break]

They wake at dawn 'cause all the birds are singing
Two total strangers but that ain't what they're thinking
Outside it's cold, misty and it's raining
They got each other, neither one's complaining
He say's I'm sorry but I'm out of milk and coffee
Never mind, sugar, we can watch the early movie

If you want my body and you think I'm sexy
Come on, sugar, let me know
If you really need me just reach out and touch me
Come on, honey, tell me so
Tell me so, baby

At the end of the day football is a results business. The league table does not lie. I don't give a monkeys if Sir Mcilroy got us into the league, that was ages ago. We are losing and not getting the results.

Someone let me know when Dave Penney has arrived.
